I have been training and handling my own Golden Retrievers since 1998. Over the years I have been very fortunate to take classes and workshops from some of the best obedience and field trainers in North America.  In Obedience, my foundation was forged with "The Obedience Partners" - Jackie Hastie and Pauline Baldwin in Calgary.  Over the years I have been attended obedience workshops with Anne-Marie Silverton, Terry Arnold, Keltie Lang, Janice Gunn, Ward Faulkner and my biggest influence, Connie Cleveland.  In the field, Dennis Voight, Mike Lardy, Evan Graham, Kevin Cheff, Pat Nolan and Pat Burns have all influenced my training and contributed to my success in different ways.  If you want to succeed in any sport, you need to search out those who are better and more knowledgable than yourself!  Over the years, I have been very fortunate to benefit from great training groups and fabulous training partners.      

 

After many years in Calgary, Alberta, in 2016 my husband Tom and I retired to Vancouver Island full-time, where I could train dogs...and he can golf, year round.

Between 2012 and 2020, I co-bred four litters with Joanne and Laureen Kinney of Surrey, BC, under the Zaniri pre-fix.  It is with gratitude that I acknowledge Laureen and Joanne, for allowing me to co-breed with them.  Thank you so much for your mentorship, guidance and friendship, as well as your support of me going out on my own, breeding under my own kennel name ~  Keenmor.
